Christie’s will present the Magnificent Jewels preview and auction at Rockefeller Center in New York, featuring exceptional high jewelry pieces and rare fancy color diamonds from important private collections around the world. This preview not only brings together historic jewelry masterpieces, but also reflects the continued global interest in natural rarity, artistic value, and collectible assets with long-term legacy potential. Important collections featured in this auction include the Collection of Lorinda Payson de Roulet, the Collection of Agnes Gund, Modern Icons: Jewels from an Important Family, the Collection of Irene Roosevelt Aitken, and the Joanna Carson Collection. These collections carry significance in art history, philanthropy, and family legacy, making the sale not only a major event in the jewelry market, but also an important retrospective of 20th-century to contemporary high jewelry culture.
