Service Description

Exhibition Dates: June 19 – October 12, 2025 Venue: Museum of Art Pudong, 2777 Binjiang Avenue, Pudong, Shanghai, China Starting June 19, 2025, the Musée d’Orsay and the Museum of Art Pudong will jointly present *Paths to Modernity*, the most extensive Orsay exhibition ever held in China—and its only stop worldwide. Featuring over 100 original masterpieces, the exhibition showcases works by iconic artists such as Millet, Manet, Monet, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne, Renoir, and Degas. Focusing on the transformative period from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century, the exhibition highlights the emergence of modern art through masterpieces such as *The Gleaners*, *Vincent’s Bedroom in Arles*, *Tahitian Women*, *The Ballet Class on the Rue de la Paix*, and *Girls at the Piano*. It also includes key sculptures by Rodin, Gauguin, and Degas, reflecting the avant-garde spirit of cross-medium exploration at the turn of the century. Designed by renowned French exhibition designer Cécile Degos, the immersive layout draws inspiration from the Orsay’s iconic interiors while harmonizing with the architectural structure of the Museum of Art Pudong, offering visitors a vivid journey through one of the most luminous chapters in Western art history. Tips: Opening hours 10:00 AM – 21:00 PM (last admission at 20:00) Note: OGP may organize group visits for members and enthusiasts to this exhibition, subject to final arrangements. If a visit is confirmed, organizers will notify participants in advance.
