Date: 2022-02-21 through 2022-3-30 Venue: Jing An District Culture Center Address: 459 Wulumuqi N Rd, Jingan District, Shanghai, China Event Descriptions - The Shanghai Jing'an District Cultural Museum and Shanghai Xu Beihong Art Research Association are collaborating to host the "2022 SHANGHAI WATERCOLOR AND GOUACHE WELCOMING SPRING EXHIBITION”, which aims to showcase outstanding watercolour and gouache artwork. - 365 works were submitted, and the exhibition was open to the public. A final shortlist of 115 works were chosen by the expert jury and will be displayed. The exhibition was attended by more than 100 artists, including well-known watercolour and gouache painters from Shanghai as well as well-known painters and art enthusiasts from across the nation. - Additionally, you can experience the distinctive charm of watercolour and pastel art alongside five watercolour and pastel artists through the "Master Public Lecture Series": Liu Yi, Chi Zhenming, Xu Junhua, Li Wei, and Song Jianshe. Tips: - From Tuesday to Sunday @ 9 : 00 am - 9 : 00 pm, Intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall @ 10 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm.
